White Jeans Outfit Ideas and How to Style

How to style white jeans 5 ways

White jeans are a staple in so many women’s spring and summer wardrobe. However, putting together outfits with white jeans can be intimidating, especially if you are used to darker jeans and pants.

There are so many ways to style white jeans. Whether you want to go dressy or casual I’ve got an outfit idea for you! And don’t think they’re only for warm weather! White jeans outfits can definitely work year-round!

My current pair of white jeans are from J Crew Factory. I’ve had some in the past from Old Navy, which I also liked, but there are some major pros to my new pair. For one they have a zipper fly. It seems so many pairs of white jeans have a button fly. A zipper fly is obviously easier to put on and take off and I think it is more comfortable too.

I also like that this pair does not have any distressing. Sometimes a distressed pair of jeans can be fun, but for everyday I like to stick with a non-distressed pair.

Let’s see some ways I’ve styled white jeans, and a few other outfit ideas

White Jeans and Blue Denim

The easiest way to wear denim on denim? Pair a blue denim top or jacket with white jeans!

A white jeans outfit with a denim jacket is the perfect type of outfit for transitional weather. You’ll get the spring-y feel of the white jeans, but stay warmer with the jacket.

Here I’ve styled this puffed sleeved denim top with my white jeans. The look is cute but still casual enough to wear just about anywhere!

A Blouse with White Jeans

The way to really dress up a white jeans outfit? Pair your jeans with a pretty blouse! Add heels to really dress up the look, or keep it cute with a pair of ballet flats! If you want to wear white jeans to work, this is the way to do it.

Add an Elevated T-shirt

I love wearing t-shirts that have an element that elevates them. Whether it be lace, ruffles, or eyelet, these little details dress up a basic tee and make it so pretty. I’ve even worn tops like this to work, because they can look like a blouse, but feel as comfy as a basic.

An elevated t-shirt with white jeans looks very put together, but will feel just like you are wearing your favorite casual tee and jeans.

White on white

White and cream neutral outfit

This is probably the most intimidating way to wear a white jeans outfit, but it can totally be wearable! Wear a pretty white lace blouse with your white jeans, or pair them with a chunky white sweater for a fall/winter look. A monochromatic outfit always looks elegant, so be confident and try it!

You can use accessories like a belt or a bag to break up the white on white and add a bit of interest to the look.

I also think this look applies to wearing white jeans with a (mostly white) striped shirt. This is such a classic outfit and will give almost a nautical look.

White jeans and a Graphic Tee

A white jeans outfit presents as dressy to me. Therefore you can use white jeans to dress up a graphic tee, or alternatively, you can use a graphic t-shirt to dress down white jeans.

Throw on a pair of sneakers, a cute headband or hair scarf, and maybe even a denim jacket, and you’ve got an adorable outfit!
