Free Assembly is one of the newest brands to the Walmart lineup. They remind me a lot of Madewell with the styles they use. Free Assembly is also a more sustainable brand. I recently found this adorable Walmart dress, and here’s why you should grab it too!

Walmart Free Assembly Puff Sleeve Shirtdress Review
This under $30 dress comes in seven different colors and patterns and sizes range from XS-XXXL so they is a size and style for everyone!
I opted for the striped version of this Free Assembly dress, but I’m considering one of the checked or solid styles as well. When you find a dress that works well, but it in a few colors! Lol.
The blue and white feels so summery to me, and gives me higher end brand vibes. I don’t think most people would think this was a dress from Walmart! It feels very J Crew or Tuckernuck.
I think the puff sleeves and waist tie of this shirtdress give it a more feminine feel, than a typical collared shirtdress.
I have to say I’ve always had good luck with Walmart dresses. Having more of an apple shaped body, dresses can sometimes hit in weird areas of my midsection, and therefore it can be difficult to find ones that feel flattering on. Walmart dresses, however, seem to be cut well to flatter my shape better than other brands. Plus they are very affordable!
I actually found this dress in store. It seems that some Walmart stores are carrying a small selection of the Free Assembly line. However, you can find the entire line online.
