Well it’s the end of the month so it’s time to share my favorites and what I’ve been up to this month! Let’s get into it.

The Act: Ummm how did I never hear of this case before this show? Without spoiling the show, which is difficult because it is based on a true story, The Act tells the story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her mother Dee Dee. Gypsy is in a wheelchair, has a feeding tube, and many other medical conditions. However, things may not be exactly how they seem.
Basically this is one of those stories that is so wild and out there that it couldn’t have been made up. If you’re into mystery, true crime, or you know about Gypsy’s story, you’ll want to check this one out.
The Act is one of Hulu’s original shows.
Avengers Endgame: I feel like I can’t say anything about this because I don’t want to spoil anything. Let’s just say I liked it, and I’m excited to see where things are headed in the future.
Coconut Oil Hair Treatments: I got my hair done a couple of weeks ago, and while I was there I mentioned to my stylist that my ends haven’t been looking good. She said she thought they seemed a bit dry and suggested I use coconut oil on my ends.
I decided to try it, and I put a bit of coconut oil on the bottom of my hair before I went to bed, as my stylist recommended. After letting it soak into my hair, washing it, and letting it dry, I was amazed at the results. My hair looked like it does when it is freshly cut!
If you are dealing with dry ends, definitely try coconut oil. You probably already have some on hand, and if not, its really cheap!
Capsule Wardrobes: The idea of a capsule wardrobe isn’t new to me, I feel like I’ve heard bloggers and youtubers talk about them for years, but I’ve only just now started to see the value of them for myself.
If you are unfamiliar with the idea of a capsule wardrobe, it is basically having a small, curated collection of clothing that you wear for a specific time period. The most common is having a capsule for each season.
I’ve stayed away from capsules up until now, because they always seemed somewhat boring to me. Like it had to be all neutrals and basic pieces. But the more I’ve researched and learned, the more I realize you can make a capsule wardrobe whatever you want.
I’m definitely still in the planning/researching phase of my own capsule, but when I put one together I’ll make sure to plan it. If you want some more capsule inspiration for yourself, you can check out my Capsule Wardrobe Pinterest board.
Colorful outfits: Even though I never shy away from color, I get the urge to dress especially colorfully in the spring and summer. This is another thing I’m keeping in mind for making a capsule. I want to have lots of color but keep it coordinated, you know?
What did you love this month? Let me know!
