Hello friends! It’s that time when I recap last month and share my goals for this month, and I’ve got quite the goals for October.

In case you missed it in September I shared about…
and fall fashion trends I’m looking forward to.
So how did my September goals go?
Not the best honestly.
Here’s what I was working on –
Take time to take care of myself: This goal was about taking more time to fix myself up a bit, wearing a bit more makeup, picking out work outfits ahead of time, or doing some sort of beauty self-care. This was kind of a success. I would say this month I had more days where I did a little more makeup or picked out my outfits ahead of time, but a lot of days were more of my lazy routine. I still want to keep working on this.
Add in a new healthy habit each week: I think I kind of forgot I set this goal after the first week of the month (maybe I should write my goals in a more obvious place). You can probably guess this one didn’t really happen.
Continue going through 100 Days to Brave: I worked on this book the first week of the month and then got out of the routine. I plan to get back to it, I’m just not sure it will be this month.
Switch up my blog theme: You may notice if you’ve been here before that my theme hasn’t changed. This isn’t for lack of trying. I’ve figured out that I’m going to be purchasing a theme rather than using a free one, so I don’t want to pick just anything. I’m a pretty indecisive person and I’d like this to be something I use for a year or more, so I want to make sure I love it. I think I may have found a theme I want to use so maybe you’ll see a switch soon!
Okay let’s get into my October goals!
Blogtober?: With October comes Blogtober, when bloggers challenge themselves to post everyday in October. I like the idea of challenging myself and increasing my content, but I don’t want the quality of my blog to suffer. So I’m doing my own version of the challenge: I’m going to try to post every week day in October. I’m also not going to try to force content just to have something to post, so if I don’t have a good post ready to go that day, I’m not going to post. There are 23 week days in October so my goal is to post on at least 15 of them. Wish me luck!
Increase blog traffic: My monthly blog traffic has been pretty similar since I started the blog. I’m hoping to increase it. Obviously having more posts should bring more visitors but I’m going to try some other techniques as well. I’ve been using Twitter more lately to promote my blog, so I plan to increase this. I’ve also been using Pinterest if you want :).
Continuing to try to take better care of myself: I feel like if I put the time and effort into taking care of myself on the outside (makeup, hair, clothes, being healthier) I feel better on the inside. So I’m going to keep working on this one from last month.
