The Sephora Sale – What to buy

Sephora Savings Event

Sharing is caring!

The semi-annual Sephora sale is always eagerly awaited for beauty lovers. Here are the details of this fall’s sale and a few recommendations I think are worth checking out.

This post contains affiliate links. So if you make a purchase using my link, I’ll receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

The Sephora Beauty Insider Sale

The Sephora Beauty Insider sale is open to all of Sephora’s Beauty Insiders. The Beauty Insider program is free to join and is a way for shoppers to earn points, coupons, and freebies for shopping at Sephora.

When you can start shopping the sale, and how much of a discount you earn is based on your Beauty Insider level.

How much of a discount do I get?

When you first join the Beauty Insider Program your status is “Beauty Insider” and for the sale you will receive 10% off.

Once you spend $350, you become a “VIB”. For the sale you will receive 15% off.

Finally if you spend $1000, you are a “Rouge” member and will receive 20% off items during the sale.

I know these discounts probably sound small, but high end beauty rarely goes on sale!

When can I shop?

Rouge Members will have early access to the Sephora sale and will be able to shop 10/27 – 11/6. VIB Members and Beauty Insiders can shop 10/31 – 11/6.

If you are shopping online make sure to use code TIMETOSAVE to get your discount!

Let’s move onto my recommendations. The Sephora products that have become tried and true staples in my collection.

Sephora Recommendations

Kosas Revealer Concealer: This medium coverage concealer has become my ultimate favorite. It sits nicely on the undereyes, is buildable, and works well to cover blemishes too.

Blush: I find high-end blushes to be worth the splurge. They typically pack a pigment punch and last all day. A few of my favorites are the Rare Beauty Liquid Blush, Jouer Blush Bouquet (don’t sleep on this brand!), and Bareminerals Blonzer.

Rare Beauty With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm: This is a tinted lip balm that is a pigmented as a lipstick. I own two of the shades (Compliment and Empathy) and they have become my most reached for lip products.

Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Lip Balm: Another lip product I’ve really been loving lately are the Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Lip Balm. Part lip gloss, part lipstick, and so gorgeous on. These are pricy so the sale is the perfect time to try one! I have the shades Desire and Lure, and Lure is the perfect just bitten fall berry tone.

Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer: This is a cream bronzer unlike any other. It really does enhance the skin to give a beautiful finish.

Paula’s Choice Omega + Complex Cleansing Balm: I have tried so many cleansing balms and this one is by far my favorite. It’s so creamy and effortlessly melts makeup away.

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant: This is one of the best products for clearing pores. It’s great for acne and gently exfoliating skin.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: This product is marketed as a mask, but it is the perfect overnight moisturizer, especially if your skin is feeling dehydrated.

What I’m eyeing

I thought I would share some of the products I’ve got on my personal shopping list for the Sephora sale.

One/Size by Patrick Starrr: One/Size is a brand I’ve heard a lot of good things about, but have never tried. I’d like to try the concealer or the setting powder.

Sephora Collection Brushes: Sephora Collection is 30% off for everyone during the sale, so I’m planning to pick up a new blush brush. They use vegan bristles, which is always something I look for.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm: These balms have gained a cult following. I think the brown sugar shade will be great for fall.

Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Palette: Natasha Denona makes some of the best eyeshadow formulas. The I Need a Nude Palette looks like the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette.
