All about scalloped home decor

One current decor trend that I can’t get enough of is scallops! Scalloped home decor consists of everything from rugs to baskets to mirrors, and can be incorporated into just about any room in your home. Although scallops are a current trend, it is still a timeless design that will look beautiful in your home even if it’s no longer “trendy”.

Scalloped home decor adds a sweetness to a room. This works great for kids spaces, but don’t overlook putting scallops in a living room or main bedroom.

Scalloped decor fits well in grandmillennial and traditional interiors, however, choosing the right color and item can lend the piece to working with various decor styles.

So many of the pieces I found are in fun bright colors and textures like rattan. This is perfect for the spring and summer season, but if you’re like me you’ll keep them out all year round.

Don’t go overboard. Adding multiple scalloped pieces in one room can feel a little too themed. Sticking to one or two pieces in a room will look great.

Check out these curated scalloped pieces below to add this decor trend to your home.

Ideas for incorporating these pieces

Add the scalloped mirror to a bathroom or over a dresser.

Use the small table to hold coffee table books.

Use the rattan table as a bar cart or a bedside table.

Add the chair to a living room or a bedroom to create a small reading nook.

What do you think of scalloped decor? Will this be a trend you incorporate into your home or will you wait for another trend?
