But first, what is a grandmillennial?
The term “grandmillennial” was coined originally in reference to a decor style. It’s an updated version of traditional interior design that incorporates antiques, blue and white, chintz and more, and combines in some modern elements to reflect a style of today.
Grandmillennial style has become more than just decor, however, you see it’s accents in pretty dresses, embroidered cardigans, and even jewelry.
Grandmillennial Inspired Jewelry
Canvas is a jewelry brand I discovered a few months back while looking for a specific type of bracelet. They recently launched a grandmillennial collection inspired by Wedgewood and full of beautiful details like bows and cameos.
The line is quite affordable with all of the pieces ranging in price from 22 to 56 dollars. I picked up two items: the Blakeley Bow Necklace in blue (it is also available in ivory) and the Emerson Bow Hoop Earrings.
I love the blue of the necklace. It can be worn to give a more basic outfit a pop of color or to coordinate with blue and white pieces in your wardrobe.
I love basic items with an interesting detail. These hoops fit that bill. They are just as versatile as a regular pair of gold hoops, but the bow adds such a sweet, feminine detail. Also as someone who almost always wears stud earrings, these hoops don’t feel overwhelming to me.
There are so many beautiful pieces in this collection, and they would make wonderful gifts. With Mother’s Day coming up before we know it, these jewelry pieces would be a lovely option.
Below I’ve rounded up several of the pieces of this grandmillennial collection. I’d love to know which one is your favorite.
