Florals seem to be a trend for fall, and I for one am here for it. Florals, especially when paired with a darker or more neutral background, have a moodier, earthy feel that just works for fall. A fall floral dress or blouse may be just what your wardrobe is needing right now!

I’ve added a few floral pieces to my fall capsule wardrobe. There are so many great blouses and floral dresses, and I even found a floral sweatshirt (perfect for working from home!).

I love to share about great spots in St. Louis, so I have to take a second to talk about Lafayette Park where these photos were taken. Lafayette Park sits right in the middle of the Lafayette Square neighborhood. Home to gorgeous and historic row houses and several small businesses, it’s a fun area to visit. And in the fall the park is simply gorgeous! We were a little early to see the fall colors, but you can get a taste of it in this post from last year. 

The little house is the park house. It was built in 1867!

My boots are the ones I talked about wanting to add to my wardrobe in my fall capsule post. I really love them! They work great with dresses and jeans, and I’m sure I’ll be wearing them all through the fall and winter.
