Last summer Euphoria debuted, and after hearing some hype about it, I decided to check it out. The show is edgy, even disturbing at times, but it is so well acted and produced. It’s not at all what my high school experience was like, but that’s not to say I couldn’t relate to the feelings and emotions of being a teenage girl.
One thing many have noticed about Euphoria is the creativity of the makeup team. In fact, they were just nominated for an Emmy.
Euphoria opened a door to what is possible with makeup. People have always been creative with makeup, but the show really brought this creativity to the mainstream.
When it comes to makeup from Euphoria, I think most people think of the glitter tears look that was highly publicized. That look is just unreal, and there are so many other amazing looks from the show. Today I’m rounding up some of my favorite products to help you get the Euphoria makeup look yourself.

Color
Colorful eye looks are a huge part of the show. The characters are seen wearing various eyeshadow colors as well as graphic eyeliner looks.
Bold eyeshadow doesn’t have to be intimidating. By keeping the rest of your makeup subtle eyes can take center stage.
So many lines have started creating rainbow eyeshadow palettes and colorful eyeliner. I’ve been really impressed with the quality and price of ELF and Colourpop shadows, and I’ve read that some Colourpop eye shadow was even used on the show.
The Glossier Colorslide eyeliners are a favorite of mine for a colorful eyeliner look. These pencils are so creamy and come in a rainbow of shades.

Sparkle
The show is known for its glitter tears looks but if you’re not feeling that bold, adding glitter to your lid can still give a Euphoria effect. The ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow is a great product to easily swipe on the lid to achieve an otherworldly shimmer look.
Rhinestones are also heavily featured on the show. Add one or two to the outer or inner corners of your eyes (or both!). If you’re feeling bold, try your hand at Maddie’s rhinestone eyeliner by glueing on rhinestones with eyelash glue.
Lips
Lips are usually subtle in contrast to the creative eye looks. Think nude tones, mauves, and clear gloss.

Euphoria was renewed for season 2, and I cannot wait to see what the makeup team comes up with this time around. Would you try this style of makeup?
