With a tulle skirt
Just as I’ve shown here, dressing up a graphic tee with a skirt, especially if it’s tulle, is such a cute look! Polka dotted skirts are especially great if you’re going for a Minnie inspired look, but really any skirt can work with the right tee!
Skirts in tulle and satin instantly elevate whatever they’re paired with. A patterned skirt adds interest and a playful feel to the look.
With a blazer or jacket
Adding a blazer or jacket can elevate a graphic tee and make it into a more grown up look.
If you’re wanting to dress up a t shirt and jeans, a blazer will automatically make a look more sophisticated. Going with a faux leather or moto jacket can make the look more edgy. And if you want to keep things on the sweet side, a tweed jacket or cardigan is the piece you want.
Wear jeans with fun embellishments
I recently picked up a pair of polka dotted jeans. They’re still on the casual side but elevated from a regular pair of denim. There are also great denim options with embroidered designs. Add this to your graphic tee to still feel comfy and casual but look a little more polished.
Don’t forget your accessories
Adding fun coordinated shoes, a hat, or statement jewelry can all have major impact on your outfit.
I really think my red beret and shoes coordinate well with the red in the tee and make this whole look seem more intentional.
I also love the look of a statement necklace or earrings with a graphic tee. Throw it on with a skirt or with your tee layered under a jacket for a glam look.
Many of the items I’m wearing are older, so I wanted to share a few cute t-shirt options and items to wear them with!
