You Can Learn a lot of Things from the Flowers

I’ve enjoyed sharing bits and pieces of St. Louis with all of you, and I hope you enjoy it too. Here is my next installment.

Tower Grove Park – St. Louis, MO

Tower Grove Park sits right off of South Grand in a fairly centralized area of the city. South Grand is home to restaurants with cuisine from around the world. You’ll also find Rooster, a popular brunch spot, and Tower Grove Creamery, a favorite amongst my group of friends.

When we were roaming around the park and seeing the various statues and flowers, I had the thought that Tower Grove is almost like a mini free Botanical Gardens. It’s actually situated right next to the Botanical Gardens so I guess this makes sense! If you want the real experience of all of the plant life, I’d suggest paying the eight or so dollars for the real thing, but Tower Grove park is fun in its own right.

My mini bouquet also came from another St. Louis speciality: Rudy’s Flower Truck. You’ll find the flower truck at different popular spots around town (this day it was at Rooster) and you can create your own bouquet from the variety of flowers in season! If you’re heading to town you can check the calendar on their website to find out where they are each weekend!

The Outfit Details

I’ve been enjoying the look of graphic tees styled with skirts. In fact I’ve been thinking about styling the pleated skirt from my last post with a graphic tee. I think it dresses down a skirt outfit and just creates a fun look.

Graphic Tee: Old Navy (similar, similar)

Skirt: J Crew Factory (similar)
